Position Overview:

The Car Audio Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for managing and growing our presence across various social media platforms, online communities, and trade shows. This role requires a hands-on approach to engaging with car audio enthusiasts, installers, DIY custom shops, and micro-influencers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the car audio market and be passionate about building relationships within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, and relevant forums.
  • Actively engage with car audio communities on social media, sharing content, answering questions, and fostering discussions.
  • Create, curate, and manage content (images, video, written) that aligns with the brand's voice and goals.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and opportunities for engagement.

Community Engagement:
  • Build and maintain relationships with car audio installers, custom shops, and DIY enthusiasts.
  • Collaborate with micro-influencers and custom automotive personalities to generate authentic content.
  • Collect and curate high-quality images and videos from installers and custom shops for use in marketing materials.
  • Act as the brand ambassador in online forums, ensuring the brand is well-represented in discussions.

Trade Show Coordination:
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage the company’s presence at key industry trade shows.
  • Work with the sales and marketing teams to develop compelling booth experiences that attract and engage attendees.
  • Ensure that content from trade shows is captured and repurposed for social media and other marketing channels.
  • Build a network of trade show contacts and maintain relationships with key industry players.

Portfolio Development:
  • Develop a portfolio of content showcasing the work of installers, DIY enthusiasts, and custom shops.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to create case studies, testimonials, and other content that highlights the brand’s impact on the car audio community.

Analytics and Reporting:
  • Monitor and report on the performance of social media campaigns, community engagement, and trade show activities.
  • Use analytics tools to track growth, engagement, and return on investment for all marketing activities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in social media management and community engagement, preferably in the car audio or automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, and online forums related to car audio.
  • Experience in coordinating and managing trade show participation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for car audio, custom automotive work, and the broader automotive community.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of basic graphic design or video editing is a plus.
