Security Guard

Job Summary:

We are seeking a diligent and responsible Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our Warehouse. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in safeguarding company property, preventing theft, and monitoring access to the facility. This role requires someone with excellent attention to detail, strong observational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of vigilance.

Key Responsibilities:

Access Control: Monitor and control entry and exit points at the warehouse, ensuring that only authorized personnel enter the premises.

Monitor High-Traffic Areas: Maintain a strong presence in high-traffic areas of the warehouse to prevent theft and unauthorized activity.

Inventory Monitoring: Regularly count and verify bins to ensure that inventory is accurately accounted for and report any discrepancies to the warehouse manager.

Theft Prevention: Identify potential theft risks and report any suspicious activity or individuals to the management immediately.

Visitor Management: Maintain a log of visitors and contractors entering and exiting the facility, ensuring proper identification and authorization.

Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety protocols and report any hazards or violations to the appropriate personnel.

Patrol Duties: Conduct periodic patrols around the warehouse to ensure the property is secure.

Incident Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed reports on any security incidents, theft attempts, or breaches.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Security Guard or in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform routine patrols.
• Basic understanding of inventory management and counting.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with CCTV and other security equipment is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Ability to stand for long periods, monitor incoming and outgoing individuals, and perform occasional physical patrols of the premises.
• Flexible working hours, including the possibility of night shifts or weekend work as needed.
